No surprise at all. The stupidity of politicians has no bounds. It can still piss me off though. We just got done fucking that country up and then we go and arm them again. Its all just one big what the fuck to me. I mean, look at just about every post in here, including the Canucks piping in. Pretty much everyone agrees, why, because we are reasonable, yet once these people get into a political position their common sense disappears it seems.

If you read the comments in the article I posted, same thing. So if everywhere you go people are saying they are fed up witht he government doing this dumb bullshit, who is voting these asshats in? Makes you wonder doesnt it?

I agree with you & as you are or were military it should piss you off that we blow the shit out of a country that we had previously armed & backed only to re-arm & support again.. It's madness & makes no coherent sense, but we are a nation thats biggest export is weaponry & with that is a major industry (probably one of the last still in the U.S.) that gets crippled when theres a brief moment when bombs & bullets aren't flying...pretty nutts..

What should a world response be if that scenario ever happen? What should a NATO response be since a few of those countries are part of the treaty? It will have to be met with an armed response to counter Putins move. And that will be the start of WWWlll.

 

It pisses me off to no end and it IS madness.

Lets just face the facts. The current world governments thrive on war, religious conflict, racism, hate and discontent. Thats what gives them their power "Oh, we need to step in and resolve this", this is the attitude of ALL governments. "The people cant take care of themselves" mentality is what is going to bring the world down.
I have my theories on how the world could be better served, but, it would get to heated and probably lock the thread so I will zip it.
