Wouldn't take much, just tape off the design with 2" width of tape and then peel off the excess on the outside of the tape. That's how I did my emblems...

Plasti dip has a lot of overspray.

I guess you could just peel/rub off any over spray but that would be a PITA

If it were me, I'd bag the whole front of the truck, cut out the area to be sprayed, then mask it off with painter's tape.

Meh, plastidip doesn't require all of the prep work. Just tape off around what you want, and as long as you don't let the overspray sit for a few days, it'll come of easy.

Naw, updating to Nitrocharger Sports. Another Tacoma owner heard I was interested in upgrading and offered to buy my old stuff. Attempting to walk the fine line of upgrading and saving for a house down payment. When it is done, hoping to step up to the Sports for only $400-500.

So funny. The pile of parts is growing in the garage again. Still haven't installed the winch. Have to do the flywheel, the carrier bearing and the u-joints. The exhaust needs welding up (the clamps aren't holding anymore) and I still haven't relocated the blinkers.

Next month I'll finish my Wheeler's order with the OME AAL, greasable shackles and bushings, body mount and steering rack bushings, After that, I'm tearing down the rear suspension, repainting the axle housing and maybe the rear half of the frame then put it all back together.

    Always something to be done.

Edit: and I forgot, my Optima redtop is 8 years old. Pretty sure I'll be needing a new battery the first time I fire up the winch once I get it installed.
