    I guess some people still hold onto things even after an apology was made and the rest of the group has brushed it off.

    No need to make anything of this. I'll end it here. Basically, I offered to use our normal shop frequency on our Big Bear run in November when there were some others on the channel we were currently using. We got close enough for 2 of my coworkers and the driver of our KOH car to hear us while they were testing at Hammers, some harsh words were exchanged and a misunderstanding led to us changing frequencies with a bad taste in our mouths.

    I thought we had it cleared up after I talked to the guys down there about it and PM'ed those who were on the trail with us that day, but I guess that didn't get through to some people.

    It really wasn't a huge deal, but they were having problems with the race car that needed radio priority and they kept getting interference. It was sort of a "heat of the moment" type of thing. Which is why they had apologized when I got down to the lake bed later that afternoon to explain the situation.

    I couldn't even hear them, so I really don't even know EXACTLY what they said, but I'm just going off what Jen and Jasmine were relaying to me.

    This is the one I have...and I paid $300 for mine after rebate from the SAME store. I'd highly suggest buying it at this price. $140.00 for a 75 watt single band that I will personally modify for transmit on race frequencies for you...can't beat that deal.

    This one is the newer version to what I have in my Tacoma and crawler. It's a great radio with 75 watts of power. On sale for 139.99 after a mail in rebate which is a good deal. HAM radios are more expensive then a CB setup but makes exponentially up for it with the dependability and range of signal.
