So I went to a shop today and asked them about a Fold a Cover G4 elite.

They want $1100 to purchase and install it. Does that sound high? I don't want to install it myself. I don't have time before I go away to school. Should I go through with it?

We sell them at my shop for $970.00 installed. I would say it is a bit high.

Is it worth trying to ask him to price match?

I'm only 17 so it's kinda gonna be hard to get respect. What should I ask for?

Ask him if he will take $850 for the cover, and $110 for install. That is a fair profit for a simple sale.

I understand where your coming from about being young. Be confident man, you are handing over a grand of your earned money, who cares about his respect.
