I tried jumping the fuel relay to pump it all out. Ive got a hose on the line where the fuel filter was and ive tried jumping it there is only a couple options and one blows a fuse.

Ive got a ? on my plugs, the Denso IK20s are single electrode but have noticed a lot about dual electrode. Could this be my problem?

Clear codes. Ensure you have good gas and fuel filter installed correctly. Also ensure wires to correct plugs and you have spark to all plugs good coils ect. Gap plugs to near .03" since you are boosted. Start truck to see if it will idle. Then see if you can maintain higher rpm and rev ect and drive. Also monitor how much boost/vac before it surges and looses rpm/power. Could be fuel pump unable to hold fuel pressure. Monitor fuel trims idle and driving as well as if it is in open/closed loop and when it changes over. If you have a way to monitor afr and or what your afr sensor is doing that may help. Do the above with 7th out of the mix if possible. Any additional information you gan gather the easier it can be diagnosed and fixed.

Sounds fuel and/or spark plug gap related. Leaning toward fuel since happend since fill up however afr sensor could be going causing these issues, or plugs, or coils, ect as they can fail any time but you just need to start narrowing it down. Regardless of dual electrode recommended for the 5vz I never had issues with mine running single electrodes and much higher power levels ect...

I wish I could drive the truck to figure it out the thing can barley get out of its own way. It won't get over 3k revving or driving. I can't monitor my afr
or boost. I checked the coil a for spark that threw the code and it was sparking like a champ with an old plug. Ive cleared codes and put a new fuel filter on. I gonna go out and mess with trying to change the passenger plugs to the dual electrodes that were in it for some reason. If that docent help I'm calling the dealer to drop it off before i burn the thing.

I tried jumping the fuel pump with no avail. No one knows what ones I need to jump so I have no way of getting the fuel out with out dropping the tank. Which its 20 degrees out so that won't be happening haha.

I hope this shows up. If not, let me know.

Below is a picture of the "opening relay" which is your FP relay. Terminal 3, at the bottom, is where the fuel pump itself is wired. Since the ECU controls the relay, AND the power to the relay you can't simply jump the relay. What you need to do is get a jumper wire several feet long and connect one end to a fused power (possibly under the hood) and then take the other end and connect it to same location as terminal 3 of the relay connects to when you plug it it (You could even wrap the bare wire around the #3 terminal and then plug the relay back in if you wish) Let me know if this is not explained well enough.

Well no luck I tried getting power from the dome light fuse and tried with/without the relay in. I called Toyota and made an appointment for tomorrow.:( The service guy didn't even know trd made a supercharger for the truck, I'm hoping the technicians are more knowledgeable then the person I talked to. Hopefully I can talk to the mechanic and let him know everything I've done and tried.

Did I have to connect the positive and negative like in the picture or just jump #3?

Only need to apply power to terminal 3. You are basically eliminated the relay, and the relay control, and engaging the fuel pump manually.

Have you checked to see if knock sensors good? If not do so and be sure they are working. May just be bad knock sensor/s or maybe faulty wiring or ground in circuit. Sounds like you are in limp mode still. Also clear code and reset ecu by disconnecting battery.

Thinking about this, I remember one person here on TW with a similar complaint that ended up being clogged catalytic converters.

Well I had a good friend and good mechanic look at my truck and right away he's like pull your 02 sensor and see how it runs. Well long story short my cat is plugged. So the plan is to find a replacement front and delete the rear. Will a non California cat pass in NY, can a computer tell its not California rated. NY does not use a sniffer they just plug it into the computer.

I don't know the laws in NY about their emissions, so I have no idea if it will pass or not. I am not a fan of a delete or of a fake sensor.

Yea but do i really need the rear cat. Im sure the charger would like to be able to exhale better. The rear sensor is just for emissions isnt it?

Well I just placed an order for the front cat and URD rear simulator. I went with Magnaflow for the front cat.
