Would going from a 285/75/16 to a 265/75/16 improve gas mileage in a 4x4 DC with the 3.4 and a/t? Needing nee tires and since I mainly drive highways and city roads with some bumpy trails tossed in. No serious wheeling. Looking for pros and cons of narrowing the width of my tires.

I didn't realize there was the intro forum. I access this place through the tapatalk app and it doesn't let me see all the forums. I'll have to really explore on the comp at home.

That link will let you compare any tire sizes and it tells you pretty much everything you'll want to know. I currently run 265/75/16, but plan on getting 285/75/16's when mine wear out.

Sounds like I need to let my fingers do the looking instead of just firing away questions that have been asked a hundred times. Much appreciated link!
