Yea I prefer that look over the big gap and smaller tires, think it looks much better IMO, that's why I went with the 285s instead of 265, but to each their own, I don't wheel so it works for me, lot of nice trucks on here though

It depends how close you want it towards factory alignment settings.

How much do the ome spring lift the front? I'd do those and the 5100s at stock setting and call it a day probably?

    Looks great! What 3"?

No you don't need them, in fact, the TSB is no longer available, unless you're under 30k miles or it's been < 3 years since your truck model.

Source: i called my dealer last week in hopes i could get a free AAL

It's pretty frustrating almost no one is says what the size of their AAL is.. i don't know if to assume 1.5'' or 2''.

I've been trying to find out what a 3'' lift in the front needs in the rear to be level (on my non-tsb truck)

There is tons of info on this forum if you use the search function. I have the OME setup, but have yet to install cuz I'm waiting for my D29XL AAL to arrive for my rears. The ARB website states that the OME kit will lift the fronts 2" but others have stated that the front nitroshock with 885's will give you 2.5" and adding a 1/2" spacer kit should bring you to 3". The OME coils are meant to be paired with the OME nitroshocks and many recommend no other way. Not too sure about the 5100 route, although I do know others that like them very much. Hope that helps a little.
