The 2.7L Single Cab Thread

Just picked this up this week. Pretty excited. Haven't had a truck in awhile now.

 

Heres my new 02 I bought on Monday with the cap , but I took it off today for the summer. I just use them during hunting season.

 

Anyone will experience with the MOLLE seat covers in their single cab rigs? I can't afford to move seat up at all and wanted to make sure the set up and pouches didn't prevent me from putting seat all way back. Thanks!

Haha thanks I though it was a lil much but I'm getting good responses on it so I think I might keep it. Only took about 2 hours to do too

 

I would like it more with black interior pieces.

 

Here is the pic of the seat cover for my bench seat. Sorry it took so long, I figured out that I had to shrink the pics a bit for the site to accept it ha ha. It doesn't conform to the horse shoe but I think it works just fine. It has pockets and pouches on the back too, which helps from things rolling around behind the seat.

 

I like the sides how you can put thing there too. Put a machete in there ha. Do those come in black and how much were they

 

Yeah i blacked out the center console and did cb next will be all the handle and sides n stuff. Here is a pic of some of it shown. Anyone selling a bench seat? I have a Manuel so I'll have to custom install it by I'd rather have a seat then a center console

 

Your trading factory buckets for a bench?

 

I would like to. In the long run I will have bucket seat 5 point harness I'll long travel my truck and roll cage it. Drop a Manuel v6 or v8 I'm considering my options. I owe 8 grand after it's paid off and my company slides me a truck my truck will be in the shop for a 2 month nose job. I'm looking into making a seat or if anyone has a custom one or aftermarket one. But if all I can do is trade then I'll do a swap.

 

I was thinking about a turbo but in the desert I think it would be bad for an engine sucking it all that sand. Plus if you blow something your fucked. Supercharger you can at least take it apart and limp home with your stock engine. Just drop a v6 or v8 haha I'm waiting for mine

 

I just really wanted a v6 like the old single cAb tacomas. I'm 4x2 but looking to build more of a truggy

Ha it's not really that much after you see what the poor first gens get.

 

Damn that's crazy. With. 2.7L the biggest I would let myself go is 33" I'm coming from a scion tc and all I could think of was going faster. At this point I'm looking to get my truck hauling ass but still have fun muddin and doing desert runs.. I like the 35" Though looks sick

Haha damn. I like how single cab guys get crazy with their truck some even better then the DC guys. I just went to my first meet and had a few guys diggin my single cab, psh I don't need no stickin room in my truck ha that's what a tool box is for.
