What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

She is perfect just the way she sits.... enjoy it.. These 1st Gens are GREAT!
She rides nice and will last a Long Long Long long, you get the idea..

 

This was part of my reason why I got it. The other reason is because they are very capable off-road. My oldest kid is 9, youngest is 7 and I plan to teach them how to drive a stick with this truck

 

Finally got around to working on the cb again. I finally have a CB that works farther than 10 yards haha

Original engine?

 

Original everything except on second clutch and bought new with 30 miles. I didn't realize we were doing nice round numbers. I will snap one when it turns 500,000... stay tuned.

I got my 03 Tacoma a bit more than a year ago. It's the nicest vehicle I've ever owned...even better than my 2003 Civic when I bought it new. It was a great car but I like the Taco so much more. I've had about 9 other cars. This one is my favorite. It's not practical and does a lot more than I want it to do but it makes me happy.

My '99 I had was bought back due to frame rot with 474,xxx miles on it. v6 auto.

Finally finished cleaning all the old junk off from the old truss..

 

Got some goodies I probably won't install for a couple of months.

 

Won't be for long that's for sure! Once the new truss is built I'll start putting it back together, then just save for duals and ill be ready to swap!

Picked up some VHT NiteShade and used it on my markers and tail lights. Pretty easy to use and came out pretty good.
