The T/C spindles add 3.5" of lift and the Icon coilovers add 0-3.5" of lift. Combining the two adds anywhere from 3.5" - 7.0" of lift.

Let's say I have T/C UCAs and the extended length Icon coilovers. How would the off-road rideabilty with ONLY the Icon coilovers set at the max 3.5" compare with the T/C spindles with Icons set at zero inches? Net lift for both setups is 3.5". If I'm only looking to add 3-3.5" max is there a benifit to upgrading the spindles? Or would that be a waste of $1000?

I would imagine Icon Coilover's riding like a Cadillac suspension set at 0" lift.

It rides awesome. I have had my coilovers set at .5" & at 1.5" and it rode the same both ways. I never had just coilovers only so I can not say how that would compare. I did have adjustable bilstein shocks and the OME coil & shock setup before this and it rode like crap compared to how it is now. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you set your co's that low with spindles you will need adjustable uca's, like TC heim joint uca's or Icon uca's. That last sentence would have saved me $1,000 if I would have known that before I got my setup.

I thought if you had your coilovers set ABOVE 2.5 inches then you will need new UCA's?? Spindles keep the same specs as stock so I don't think there's a need for UCA's unless you go full 3 inches.

You are correct. You dont need the UCA's unless you set the CO's over 2" or so.

uca's are not just for correcting alignment issues. They are stronger than stock and allow for addtional suspension travel. The OP wants extended travel icons which do require aftermarket uca's for the extra travel.

You have 5 inches up front and a 1.5 AAL in the rear? How bad is the bro lift? I have 5 inches up front and about 3 in the rear and my front sits higher.
