Schedule looks good. About 70 turbines this year.
The first shift guy took another job so I'm the only one running this machine. And its the only machine we have.
So they said I could have all the hours I wanted so that they don't have to hire someone else to fill the 1st shift slot.

Knew there had to be a reason. Good for your wallet ... but bound to get old some days, huh?

    Yea. It's old already.
Meh. It goes pretty fast and its just one more part.( I run 2 parts per shift).
So 15 mins to setup. 3.5 hrs to browse the internet. 15 mins to clean. Go home.
It's practically free money just to inconvenience me for 4 hrs.

Yup yup. So Jake here's my way of dealing with that shit. If it doesn't put anyone at physical risk I do nothing. I speak my thought to the individual if I'm working with them and say screw it. I'm not the boss, I didn't hire him, I don't pay him, I don't have to answer for him and (I know you're only 23) if the dudes been doing it for years apparently his employer is okay with his work. So, why make it your or in my case my problem?

It's often weak and poor management that has set the standard of work. It's hard to change that culture.

Morning Rob, Rich & Chris. Hope y'all had a good few nights I'll be back on for day 1 of 4 tonight. Of course I just got back on the humane schedule.

I did manage to change fluids in the 4 wheelers, changed batteries in the JD farm tractor and de-winterize the Dixie Chopper rider & Exmark walk behind. I'm SO ready for some decent weather!

 Morning Joe. Sounds like you had a productive break.

Yep, ready for Summer here too. Wondering if it'll come early or not. I usually don't count on it until May up here, but this has been an odd Winter, so who knows. :notsure:

    Catch ya tonight.

EDIT: Can't really count a "Spring" up here. I've taken to going from Winter to Summer and back around again. I guess our term for Spring is "Break-up."

That's kind of it. Summers can be nice, but always keep a jacket or hoodie sweatshirt on hand. When you have radiant direct rays from the sun it's pretty nice in Summer, but let a cloud block the sun and it gets chilly again. Kind of like living in a cooler is how I describe it. All those glaciers are always there. ;)

EDIT: That's down here in South Central, interior AK (Fairbanks like) gets hot in Summer (90s).
