I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
I can get them for that price (before shipping of course). I don't try to make profit on it. I just somehow made it into their distributor list.

Justin - I have the Thermal Arc 211i. Same one that Relentless Fab uses to build their bumpers. Whats up?

Paul - Do you know what brand? I may be interested in 3 or 4 depending on shipping cost and such.

Hanma, same as mine. About 10 people ordered in my first batch and they have all been very happy so far.

I know justin wants one, jab has contacted me about 1 or two. The closer to 10 items we have, the more comfortable I will feel about getting with my guy. Don't wanna burn a bridge for such a little order haha

lookin to make a purchase soon and just seeing what options folks are running. although i am still leaning towards hobart. always had good luck with hobart welders in the past and cant seem to be ready to cope with the type of loss in bank roll a miller warrants.

I got ya. I get about a dozen emails a week from manufacturers looking for distributors. The introductory price is always great. Then the details kick in. That is why I haven't jumped on the bandwagon myself. For example Aurora approached me about being a dealer. I could buy their 32 inch dual row CREE for something like $110. BUT if I ordered less than 5, I had to pay a "surcharge" of $30 each. Didn't matter if I bought 5 different ones, if I didn't order 5 of the EXACT same bar, the surcharge was added. So that is why I said the heck with it. I didn't have $3000 to blow on light bars in the HOPE that I could sell them. Not saying that YOURS is the same way, but I would ask specific questions on MOQ and multiple part numbers. Jsut to be safe.

When you do get ready to order shoot me a PM and I will let you know what I figure I will need. Thanks!

In all honesty, try and get the Thermal Arc 211i. She is a MEAN beast with 100% total DIGITAL control. I can specify 17.8 volts, or 17.9 volts. Want 350 wire speed? Maybe you need 360 wire speed to get the perfect weld. The 211i is all digital. On top of that it can stick weld, AND you can add a TIG kit to it later on for TIG welding. It is WELL worth the money. Ask Matt. He used it when he put on his sliders on his 4Runner.

Where is this Matt your speaking of???? He needs to show himself! :quickdraw:

On a side note, the welder worked great but everyone has their opinions! Any welder will work better than the one I don't have! :D

yeah i can get pretty well the exact same welder from hobart, which is what i have been eyeing for a while, minus the digital because i have no use for that for about $300 less than any price i have seen on the thermal arc. when you learn and get certified on a welder that you cant even read the numbers on the dials anymore you learn to listen and feel the machine instead of rely on it to tell you what to do. i admit you got a great deal on a great welder, i just dont want to pay for options i dont want/need. if that makes sense. hopefully you dont take this as a smart mouthed response, as it is in no way meant that way, but merely a response of "that there welder has too fancy of buttons for plain ole me". :D

No worries. I got ya on that. I just really love the welder. Even without the digital display, I like that the adjustments are infinite. My old welder was a click dial. You had 10 "voltage" ranges, and that was it. No fine tuning.

Hey guys, new to this tread. I live in NW GA but I own a home in Decatur, AL. We are there often so my wife can see her family in Faulkville, AL. I'll keep my eye on this to see if anything is going on when I'm there. GA Boy

ATTENTION THOSE INTERESTED IN LIGHT BARS.

Pool together what you want and let me know. Aaron has like 4-5 already interested. I'll place the order but I don't want to do all the planning haha.

I'll then talk to Hanma and see what a shipping price (to huntsville) will be. I usually have them quote me shipping based upon total order weight, then divide that by total light weight in kg's. Then whoever order what is responsible for that much in shipping. Capisce?
