Oh. My. God. YES!!!! Reaction video requested please good sir.
Well there goes the neighborhood. I take it they don't know about your involuntary tremors that manifest mostly in your fingers when they're bent?

'They' have been saying this since before your time. I won't be holding my breath and besides.. I prefer a real truck frame if I have a need for diesel torque. IMHO the 4.0L V6 is the PERFECT engine for this truck.

My mall crawler has C's and I get KILLER MPG's son! :D

    Well there is this http://wardsauto.com/vehicles-amp-technology/toyota-tundra-set-receive-cummins-diesel

If you think about it Toyota has no financial reason to bring one of their diesels to EPA spec or make a new diesel for the US. They will always sell the Tacoma in huge numbers regardless of the fuel type. I did hear a rumor that EPA and Euro emissions ratings will become the same in the next 10-15 years. If that happens I don't see why we couldn't have any engine.

:burnrubber: I think a uz swap 1st gen would be more fun than boost.

I have heard that the reason why we don't have more diesel vehicles in the states is due to an agreement signed by US automakers and oil compnaies when germany started building quality consumer diesel vehicles. It said something about not producing diesel engines so that oil sales could remain high. I have also heard that that is the reason why dodge and other companies don't make their own diesel engines. THey bent rules by having other companies build their diesels in order to get around the agreement. SO, that will probably mean that we will never have a diesel taco or anything else. Not sure if there is truth to any of that, but it does explain a lot.

It was decades before Obama. Sounds like republican big-business bs to me. Not that I'm sticking up for Obama, just sayin that it isn't his mistake to own.

this sounds a little tin foil hat to me especially since Ford's new 6.7 diesel was designed and is being produced in house.

Need an opinion on a bull/ light bar. I'm going to fab one up but I don't know to go with round tube or square tube. A lot of them are round but I'm thinking about doing one out of square tube to be different. Any thoughts?

by bull bar you mean for the front of your truck that comes from under rises up like a hoop? if so... ROUND. if your just looking for a light bar across the front of your truck... ROUND lol... you could go with square but just looks so... ghetto rigged IMO. every time I see squrare tube on the outside of a truck (exept for the base of sliders) I immediatly think they used scrap material and designed it around that rather than the material around the design.

    $.02

for what it's worth I'm using square tubing to create a storage compartment in my truck extra cab... but i'll be hidden lol

X2, IMO you can only get away with square tubing for sliders.

And because the Moab thread reminded me, I say we do the ropes course they have by my school in foco :p

Yeah man after that lady at the DMV showed me how easy they can be stolen without scoring it with a razor I do it all the time. I haven't had one stolen since I have done it, although I only had 1 stolen before I would do it, that's one more than I wanted.

Just went up to addicted to see what's up. Might get that super charger going sooner rather than later.

Yeah I need to stop going in there because every time I go, I almost leave my runner there to get built haha. Armor and SAS crosses my mind every time I go in. I was contacted by a Canadian member to go see a turbo kit one of the guys up there is selling. So I went and snapped a photo for him.
