Even if you were scammed, you took the high road. Doing so earns you more respect from potential customers. This approach will earn you more business in the long run. imo, you just created yourself more customers and money.

 for what sounds like a fair resolution, given the circumstances. It sounds like you're a stand-up guy and I've been very impressed with your customer service and knowledge every time I've dealt with you. You're an asset to this forum!

    Keep on keeping on!

this is how I do it Bill & I have multiple check points up to boxing and applying labels. I haven't gone as far as sending someone the wrong part, but before my new system I did forget to add a pair of cv seals with an order.

with the volume we do it can be hard to keep track of everything.

Twice now I have sent out a complete replacement assembly in good faith of the customer to get the faulty assembly back to me. Both customers came through for me. I have shipped a replacement 4x2 PreRunner assembly to a customer who lost one from their order due to USPS DESTROYING the box. The hub was never found but luckily I insure every order. I sent the assembly unknowing if the USPS insurance claim would be granted or not.

    Great story here Bill

that is awesome as a vendor that it's not that you tried to hang him, but gave him the benefit of the doubt, and behold you found the parts to build what he needed. initially it did sound sketchy.

when i do need a new hub, i will definitely get it from you in the future!
