The only bad thing about RainX other than the cost is it kind of leaves that slight film on your windows which is H**L to get off to get them crystal clear. Sure works like Magic in the rain though, most time no wipers even needed.

Got my truck back for the crank seal yesterday. And of course today I hear the squeaky rear brakes. What's the TSB #?

Installed Muth Signal Mirrors. These are mirrors that replace the mirrors in the housings.

The door panel and the mirror housing had to be removed. It was really easy to do this.

The old mirror just pops out when pried from the bottom.
The direction said to run the new signal wire beside the mirror control wire harness, which is a little rubber tube. I just pocked the signal wire through the tub. You can see the little tub here with the 3 mirror control wirs and the two signal wires.

The direction then said to run the wire along the door, through the rubber boot that holds the wire harness between the door and the frame, then run it under the dash, and then find the correct wire behind the fuss box and splice. No need. There is a signal wire already in the door. The mirror control wire has three wires in the male plug. The female plug--which is attached to the door--has five wires. The three wires at the front of the plug control the mirror tilting. The two wires at the back of the plug are the positive and negative turn signal wires. Here you can see the plug with the signal wire zip tied.

Here is where I spliced the new signal wires into the signal wires in the wiring harness.

    Here the results.

I have a cross box, not a job box. If I were you, I would bolt the box to the rail system. Probably four of the largest that will fit, since it's a heavier style box. Cut spacers to put inbetween to stop the sides from bowing. Then just ratchet the bottom if it's not secure enough.
