Completely separate computers. I lost ABS when I did the Tundra axle. I pulled the fuse and the dash bulb back then. This just gets rid of rats nest of brake lines and reclaimed some under-hood space.

Not sure. But I got a cable and software we can plug into your truck and find out if it's separate or not :spy:

Oh man, I've wanted to do this for a year. The ABS fuse has been pulled since I bought the truck in August 2012. Did you have custom lines made up or what all is involved in pulling the pump?

I bought factory lines for a non-ABS Tacoma strait from Toyota. They were pretty cheap from Camelback Toyota.
Just remove the old shit and the ABS module and replace with the new lines.

    EDIT:
On second thought...might be slightly more involved for you. I removed the factory load sensing brake proportioning valve and the extra lines when I did the rear axle, so I already had a head start. Still...it won't be that difficult.

Jason, what are your thoughts on the water/meth kits that people are running with their SC's? Have you ever thought of one. I've done some research regarding them, but figured I'd ask you since you know a ton about superchargers.

It's a trucks. I don't need more power than it already has. I would have never done the 7th injector if it wasn't for the pinging problem. Besides...what happens when you are in the middle of the desert if you run out of water or methanol?

So I had some time to start prepping for Moab. Ass of the truck has been sagging in the last year so figured I'd get the springs re-arched. Nothing is simple with me.....

Pulling the leafs was the definition of a pain in the ass. What I thought was the bolts were siezed in the sleeves. Alas I was wrong. All four nuts on the shackle had backed off (or the bolt stretched) between 1/16-1/8". That was with nylon nuts and fine thread pattern. The slack was enough to allow the bolt to oval out the shackles as well as banana two out of the four bushing sleeves and bend all 4 bolts.

    Soooo...up next:

    • Re-arched springs
    • Delrin bushings
    • 3/4" F911 bolts
    • Chromoly sleeves

    And the "oops":
