We are on the same page, I was only referring to the strength of an add outer cv from a Tacoma/Tundra CV vs. an outer manual hub Tacoma CV :)

I actually need to look in to this again. I want to say the TLT guys ended up just running add cv's/hubs because of the strength issue but left the manual front diff. Basically everything spins when you drive all the way up to the transfer case (but it is not engaged so you still only have power to the rear wheels), where as on an add truck the front diff actually disconnects. More wear and tear, but Im looking at it as a 98% play truck so I wont care.

Yes. That way when you bend your coilover towers like I did you can get your alignment back in spec. (almost). Hey, want to buy a set of used TC LT bushing uppers?

you should have had it powder coated bro, that engage paint they use lasts like a month before it starts rusting off...if you can have the links done id recommend it for sure, cuz if not you'll probably end up pulling it off down the line to have it all done. i had my old engage kit powder coated and it held up solid!

me too haha maybe they have the correct measurement finally lol

Don't worry man, you're in the right place... there are plenty of people here who have been through what you are about to. They'll point you in the right direction eventually.

I took the factory toyota jack and stuck it between the heims to stretch them out a bit. The bolt sucks them back together anyway. I think TC's jig is a little on the tight side.
