Got my $30 warm snatch strap last night. Looks brand new to me. Can't really complain for $100 less than retail...

I'm still adjusting to the sticker shock with the new truck. Thing has a 36 gallon tank so the last few times I filled up, I put damn near $100 into it!

Ya the 36 gallon tank is nice for range, but really puts a hurting on the wallet.

    Well now...

Right, but how many miles are you going between tanks?
When I was traveling 40 miles one way to work on the Ninjette I felt like I was getting terrible gas mileage because I was filling it up twice a week. But, it only has a 4.5 gallon tank (1 gallon of which is reserve), and I was actually getting over 70 MPG's. Then I started driving the truck again that fall, and I was still filling up twice a week, but at 15 gallons at a time...

I can go about 600 miles before I start really needing to find a fuel stop. I usually fill up after about 500 though to keep the sticker shock at the pump down. If I drain it down too far, it takes like 20 minutes to fill up!

Oooffh...Bring a book to the gas station, that's a new one on me!

You know, my GF's Honda does 40 MPG, and she's got twice as much room as a Smart Car...

I always just shoved an empty water bottle in the handle of my work truck and hopped back in to the truck and relaxed during the filling process.

    You should get MPGLOL
I traded for a 2013 F-150 Super Crew. I don't have any pictures on this computer otherwise I'd attach one. I like it so far, thing's freakin huge!
The new Ford's don't even have gas caps so I can't shove the cap in there. Might have to try the water bottle trick.

I'll never do that again; the automatic shutoff didn't work when I was filling my truck up last week. If I hadn't been standing right next to it when it happened who knows how much gas I would have pumped onto the ground...
First time it's ever happened, but now it's got me nervous.

    Blargh.
It was stressful enough when it happened and I knew they already had a recall and my truck had previously been inspected and passed.
Not sure I'd be able to deal with "well, maybe... you'll have to wait and see; you might be F*cked..."
