    That is tempting for a summer DD...


    So update on the P0305 code; it's fixed and I don't know how
    Metered the No.5 and No.3 coils first thing this morning
    No.5 was bad
    walked a couple miles to Del Toyota - none in stock
    dealer 15 miles away has one in stock
    disconnected the neg terminal for ECU reset, swapped the No.5 and No.3 coils
    hooked everything back up, started and drove to the dealer
    was fully expecting a P0303 code at some point... nothing
    ran fine the whole way to and from so I drove for another 30 miles
    no codes, no hesitation... nothing

    I really, really hate little electrical gremlins

    Eh depends on which bike you get. I was lucky to get 30 on my old one. Bike's make poor dd's too. I feel now that I have a close job i would love to ride in regularly now that I don't have to wear slacks/button down/dress shoes to work every day. You can however ride in the rain just fine with proper rain gear. Problem is rain gear is a pain in the ass for a commute too.

    or a bad connection; reseated every plug within reach
    in some way the new belt; very doubtful
    the real odd part is the No.5 coil metered bad...

    how the f%c& does that fix itself :confused:
