Just curious, but going from the 3.5in outlet back to 2.5, does it change the sound of your exhaust at all?

Ya know... a coat of paint on that bumper wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for it

Ok! Ok! Got a quote for sand blasting it. $60... so I'll get to it soon...

Ever so slightly. The exhaust isn't being routed to the side, but instead straight back so it's slightly quieter... at idle. Haven't driven it yet.

    Maybe it's a Hipster bumper...
He spent lots of money on it, but he doesn't want anybody to know that he spent lots of money on it...

cutting it there or slightly before that hanger made the resonance better in the cab on mine. not as loud. replacing the exhaust with a factory one makes me listen to the tires.

One of the reasons the lift came off. My right rear shock blew, dealer replaced it as there is a warranty on that part hahahahahaha thanks Seth
Not sure but ill have too look. If a 250 carrier fits that will be cheap lol. My drive shaft on my truck is pathetic so I bet not.
I've had them say it on the pump itself never the loud speaker. I had a real asshole once lol she shut the friggen pump off at 15 gallons WTF walked inside she said swipe your card so i did out side pump clicked off at some stupid number like 2.77 like what the hell. I was filling my work truck (Hino Flat bed) why cant they make the diesel pump like the gas pump and shut off not blast everyplace. I mean i could go to the regular diesel pump and not be soaked but thats slow

Google "Wookie Strength Carrier Bearing" and you should come up with the thread. I think it was on Pirate if I'm remembering correctly. There's a thread on TW that links you over to that thread also. I looked into that bearing but it seems like it drops the center of the bearing also and i didn't need that for my application. A local guy make his own mount for an HD cerrier, I can't remember who it was though. It's basically a solid mount bearing that's servicable.

Just material cost. So not a lot of money actually. Maybe $150?

Those things acted like megaphones... still makes a nice sound, but not as loud in the cab. Gotta get that M/T huuuummmmm :D

Been thinking about cutting off the tip I had welded on when I installed the exhaust. The drone in the cab at 2500 RPMs drives me nuts.

I can't say that it will help that, I did mine for aesthetic reasons. I thought my tips looked stupid, but having driven around a little there is a noticeable reduction in cab noise. I've yet to venture onto the highway.
