    just the stock cheapo skid that came on truck my lift came with spacers for the skid

    Word to the wise aluminum and steel do not mix. They were literally seized to each other and we had to remove the steel framing all together.

    not the diff drop - the stock TRD skid comes with some lame threaded blocks that seize to the steel bolts. we tried everything short of torching it off last weekend.

    I removed my stock skids last fall and I didn't have any problems with mine. I actually don't remember the blocks. :drunk:

    Are you the one that just picked up an arb bumper? I'd say definitely install the bumper if you have time. It should take you a few hours if you don't have any problems. Washers help to shim it if you need too. Idk about the arb since I've never installed one, but my elite and ants relentless both needed some washers to space it from the fender flares. The front of the truck flexes a lot so make sure you have atleast a 1/4" between bumper and flare.

    What haven’t I changed?
    The ARB is the same way, and the instructions say to leave a 10-20mm gap between the bumper and the flare to account for body flex.


    Was the bumper you picked up installed before? One of the last steps for installation is drilling into the support bracket and bumper, so if it was installed before then the holes may not line up on your truck.
