Dunno how I missed all these posts in here.

Reason why I ask is the ol lady is planning on moving up here this summer and I think I'd rather stay in the Eagle River area, but I have to be on base by 0600

    How's the traffic going home?

Where in town can I buy a good snatch strap and recovery shackles? I need to get another strap after towing a friend out of the ditch the other night. I found a pretty good cut in it so I figured having a spare would be a good thing.

^^ I picked up some shackles from Underground Performance downtown by Merrill field. I can't remember if they have recovery straps but they might since they carry ARB gear.

As Kappes said though, if you don't need them right away, I would order from Amazon. Much more variety of colors to choose from for the shackles.

Guys I'm looking for recommendations on body shops in Anchorage. The wife's car has some damage that I want to get cleaned up. Let me know who you recommend. Thanks.

Wow totally missed this haha. I have no problems going home. It gets a little busy but i can still cruise 60-70 with no issues. I've left anywhere between 1500-1800.

For sure. Its not bad at all at 0615 and can only be better earlier. I know at 0300 its empty! haha. Btw, did you go to hilltop for military night last night? Thought I saw you there.
