Well, the last time I checked, that particular make & model airplane cannot be mid-air refueled.

It took off with a certain amount of fuel.

That plane cannot land on any existing carrier.

Therefore, the craft is on the ground in some form.

I don't know if it crashed into the ocean and the ground it is on also hold up a couple miles of water. Entirely possible.

It's also technically possible that the craft landed safely. Now, given that you need, what...8000 feet of runway to do so?....and that we can't currently see it with satellite imagery makes it extremely unlikely that this is the case. Possible, yes, but not even plausible in the slightest.

Plus, with our worldwide comms and satellites and whatnot, we take for granted how bloody BIG this planet is. If that plane went down relatively intact in a couple of miles of water at an unknown location in the middle of the damned indian ocean, we may never actually find it. Especially if the pilots dumped or burned most of the fuel before the water.

That's pretty much a wrap on it. We can conjecture, speculate, and make up wild bullshit TV show plotlines about it, but at the end this is pretty much where we are at.

some one said "concrete"? hmmm concrete...., heay, solid, sinks..... the plane is solidly in one piece and has sunk...........conc-rete...
conc - concussion, conced out..... the passengers are unconcious,,,, rete ...rete... rete where they are...they are still in their seats, rete where they where seated.....

yup that's it folks...plane is one piece, solidly at the bottom of the ocean, passengers and crew passed out from lack of oxygen, ..... that's IT!

That's what Im sayin. Its still airborn. Given the amount of collective knowledge on the craft, any mechanical issues could surely be figured out, and fixed by the passengers. As for the fuel......If you've ever eaten airline food, you know for sure that plenty of gas can be created. My thinking is....their only limitations are the amount of drinking water on board. By my calculations.....they will have to land for more water........in........June. Unless the fly thru some clouds, with a window down. If that's the case.......they may never land again!

Off topic....but I cant help but wonder if any of the engineers that worked on the past stealth aircraft are in fear of loosing their jobs.........

MH370 flown to Iran, aircraft is hidden, Iran will load aircraft with waste uranium for a dirty bomb, aircraft will be flown to Damascus, Syria when hostilities calm down in Syria's civil war. Chemical weapons that were supposed to be removed from Syria then loaded onto aircraft. Israel finds out that aircraft has been loaded with chemical weapons and uranium and they find out that the plan is to fly the aircraft to Tel Aviv or another target of opportunity in Israel.

Israel then nukes Damascus, Syria before aircraft takes off

That's one of many possible scenarios ...
