That's a really cool idea. Since the frame, cab will all be welded, that should make a really strong platform to mount the links.

Basically how mine are done. We tied them and the cage into my sliders in a bunch of places and re-enforced all the slider mounts with 1/4" gussets, plate, and a few more pieces of tube. I'll see if i have a pic

Working through some in car from our race at the Mint. Was a shorter day than we had hoped, looks like we snapped an axle shaft somewhere around race mile 60 ish. Limped it around to finish the first lap without really knowing what the problem was, actually thought I was just doing a crap job of driving...wrestled to keep it straight at speed and in the rough, couldn't get power in the soft stuff, etc.

We started in front of the sportsman prerunners which caused us to spend a lot of the first 30 miles or so finding spots to move over and work through dust after. Was a fast course overall with lots of fun sections. Plenty of rough and big rocks but no shortage of places where you could really run.

Had a great time and am really glad we did it even though it didn't quite go as well as we would have liked. Khris has done a great job of building and maintaining the truck, our MCM fab front kit worked really well through the big stuff, and in spite of all the rocks I smacked the only issue we had on our Grabbers appears to have been when I smacked a rock and bent a rim, knocking a tire off the bead.

A couple of short teasers here with stuff I am not too ashamed of. Will post a more complete lap recap once I get it all spliced together. Thanks to everyone who has helped us along the way, everyone at SDHQ, Fiberwerx, Warrior Wraps, Toughlight, Best Muffler, and Adams Driveline in Vegas. Will probably be a while before I'm able to do it again but definitely can't wait.

I know it sounds redneck but try doing it yourself. I got tired of paying good money to have someone set my truck up to melt front tires. The last one I payed for was visibly off when I got it home. Now I do them myself with string, eyeball and test drives. My front tires wear correctly now and the truck drives better then it ever has. took me ~3 hours to figure out my first one, but you might be a little handier then me with tools.

theres is a few generic ones I read before hand but what I found was everything effects everything else so you can not adjust camber then move on to toe. Both of those fight each other so at the end its small adjustments to both until they both come in together. Caster was pretty forgiving so I just shot for middle of the range on that. Heck the FJ cruiser guys run out of spec caster just to fit tires.
