The basket up top sits down between the roof racks, it just my Hi Lift mount that sticks up so high. I'm tempted to cut it off and try mounting the jack to the front bumper.

I got ya. Thats nice that the actual basket is nice and low though. You can hardly tell it is there unless you look at some of the pictures in your build thread. Helps maintain that factory look.

Bump for anybody wanting to order aluminum. I am ordering a sheet soon for some rails that go on the topper and have some extra space.

With the bolt on crossbars, what is the clearance under the front most crossbar, the rear most, and the middlemost?

Same as with the steel welded kit. It is about 1-1/2" in the middle and 2-3 in the rear and about 3-1/2" in the front. There are some pictures in the first post of the clearances.

Total chaos UCAs, 265/75-16s, BAK rollback tonneau, custom lights and rack.
Just a few quick pics. Still need to get the light bar on. Everybody stops to ask about the rack.

I am excited for the fj rack as well. It is all done I just need to go down and deliver it to the client and help him get it installed. I should be pretty cool.

Zack has delivered and installed his FJ variant rack this afternoon! All I can say is what a fantastic product! This design is strong, great fit, and VERY versatile. Not to mention Zach is a professional even while perched on top of the rack installing the wind deflector! Pics are on his build thread

I really like the new aluminun bolt together design. These are nice, this could really take off for you.
I've read through the threads and only saw mention of an access cab version. Would it just take getting the measurements for the mounting points? I'm assuming there would be mounting points if I pull the rubber strip off my access cab roof.
I think there would be interest in an AC version, if it were possible.

As far as I know there aren't any factory holes on the access cab models. For those interested in it it would simply be a matter of installing rivnuts into the roof so you could actually mount the rack. I would need to mock up a rack on an access cab to make sure the length and the curve of the roof were right but it wouldn't be super difficult.

We might be able to prototype one on my access cab?

The though had come to mind. I have a set of blank rails for a double cab so one of these days maybe we can get together and see how much would need to be removed to make it work for an access cab. Let me see what my schedule looks like for the next bit and we can figure something out.

I saw on the All Pro rig's build thread, they worked with frontrunner to get a rack for their AC. Maybe just PM AP?
