Kind of new to the forum here but thought I'd see what you guys thought about my Man Room project. Been a work in progress for the last couple of years. Tried to get it finished before my 1st kid came along but didn't quite get it done. That was 2 years ago and I'm fixing to put the final pieces on....mostly trimming it out. Thought I'd share and see what you thought.

    Looks good man.

When I read the title, I was thinking:

    Projection Screen
    PS3/Xbox360
    Home Theatre
    The works...

I guess that would be the nerd room huh.

    Great job though. :D

A 40+" LCD is definitely in the budget for next foot ball season... Not much on video games but a Wii with the bow hunting game may make an appearance up there eventually.

    Thanks for the comments!

All of those are South Alabama piney woods bow and rifle kills from public and small acreage leased land. Although I have seen some studs come out of this area of FL. We have a good bit of farming going on around here and it really shows. Soybeans have made a come back to this area and if you are lucky enough to hunt near a farm that crop rotates between the beans and peanuts you have it made.

Oh yea...the pack and play is what makes the room! I think every guy needs one... LOL

I see you got vestavia on your weather front. I lived in Homewood for 4 or 5 years after graduating from Auburn...yea I won't hold your UA avitar against you...LOL Worked at HealthSouth before and during the big melt down with Scrushy. I live just outside of Pensacola now.

Cool. I worked at HealthSouth after the meltdown for a bit, but not for HealthSouth. I was an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers. We got to do quite a bit of travel to all of the facilities around the country. I went to LA, Vegas, Sacramento, Illinois, Florida, etc. on HealthSouth's dime.

nice now all you need to do is replace the baby crib with a flat screen and a case of beer and your set.

Not trying to say your baby isnt important but this is a man room!

That is nice. You should get the the rest of the deer and put them on the outside of the room right behind the corresponding head.

Thank goodness he's a boy so he can hang with me up there!
Check this pic out. This was from 2 turkey season's ago. We usually skin them out at the camp but I had to set up camp on this one before he finally commited. Wife wanted me back for something so I high tailed back to the house. Good thing because it was a nice show and tell momment and I got a cool pic. BTW...I still got in trouble for being late...worth it though.

    Thanks for all the comments!
