arted Friday evening, Finished Saturday afternoon, Took Pictures today cause im lazy and finally did it =D

JL Audio 8" with enclosure. A JL 250/1 SW Amp is installed under the seat. Remote Bass knob is installed next to dash dimmer, and wires were run under the center console/cup holders for stock look. Sounds amazing, can not believe the noise that this sub makes =)

Have a link to that sub/box combo? I need to redo my system and want something that can fit behind my seat. I think I have less room than your single cab though...I may have to make my own box but I'm looking at ideas for shallower subs too.

18-5/8"W x 11-3/16"H x 6-5/8"D (With Grill) Its pretty small, but i did sacrifice a click or two in space to keep the bar in the back of the seat from pushing the grill in.

    http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_29600_JL_Audio_JX2501.aspx

Rated 175RMS for the 250RMS sub, but does a great job, and hard to beat for $110.

cleaned two sets of rims yesterday (made it up to 50 degrees!)

finally put on they new rims (just burning off the tires), they are from an '06 4Runner. outsides were almost immaculate but insides needed some TLC

Test fit my sliders early yesterday, i chopped a bit off the legs to get it off the truck they were welded on previously. Think I'll still have enough protection without extending the legs?

As long as they stick out just past the tires it's perfect in my opinion. It's how mine are....

no. i can say from experience and im sure others have the same feeling, those suckers should stick out at least 3" past your door. Think that your door curves out, so you want the slider IMO at least at or past that outermost point. as brent said, in line with the outside of your tires is also a good gauge however your tires dont stick out past the fender so that doesent work well.

case in point, hells gate. the only thing that saved my whole pass side was the slider it was leaning on

Mine used to stick out past the tires, but since I got 33's and lower offset wheels they fit perfectly.

Surprised nobody commented yet on how nice this setup is. Details on the wheels (7069?) and tire size please. Can't see too well on my phone. Oh, yeah - any rubbing?

Looks awesome! I want a hard top. Now you gotta clay bar/ wax so the truck shines like the topper. Paint matches perfectly

As for rocker protection it looks perfect. For door ding protection.... Do the sliders stick out farther than the doors? From the pic it looks like they do

Edit: what the other guys said

Crap alright I guess if we are welding on I might as well do it right and have the added protection.

X2. Sliders IMO should stick out farther than the widest point of your door. That way it offers vertical protection as well as some horizontal.
