I watched the ad about the two guys seeing one from a cliff, I kinda laughed, it looked like something straight from collegehumor

 

So it was nice out and I wanted to see what the whole setup looked like… soooo vvvv







Unfortunately I do have a mold problem since apparently I forgot to dry out the tent after the last toyota takeover at rausch



any who I washed it down with soapy water and a little bit of clorox and let it sit in the sun till I ran out of sun light, It didn't do much so I took the tent off and put it in the garage to continue the process

He said I had the rain fly to tight so the wind couldn't get under it to dry it out

My truck is slowly turning into bgrs old truck

any who started making a weird noise (almost like a whistle) on the way home yesterday… traced it out to somewhere on the driveshaft.

So I got a chance to grease it this afternoon… no more noise seems odd that greasing the universals fixed it.

any who second thing is should there be any play in the carrier bearing, specifically up and down?

makes me wonder if i dried mine out after my last trip

 

Carrier bearing has play but idk how much is acceptable


Btw I ordered a moisture barrier from bobby. I'll let you know how it works

Hey Steve, how high is your tent from the ground? Trying to decide how high I want my bed rack, and I pretty much want it the same height as yours.. Thanks

I can get you an exact measurement in the morning but my bedrack should be 13" to the top, off the bed rails

Hey Jay…. I was right in my thinking the top of my bedrack is 13" off the top of the bed rails. It puts the top of my tent at about the top of the roofline but the ladder does stick up further yet.

 

How's tiregate coming along?

I was going to work on it this weekend but dad finished up what welding gas we had left on his car… he's filling it up at work so maybe later this week I can get to it again
