Cedar Waxwings. Nice shots! I love seeing them around. Check out the birding and bird photography thread if you're into that, too.

Thanks. I just enjoy anything in nature to shoot. Birds are fun since they are challenging and provide good opportunities in the city.

Well..im sure those people that complain are hold stuff to the highest of standards and have all shot with the 400L prime and such. So they have something to compare it too.

that said. Your new stuff is pretty damn awesome with that glass!

Awesome texture in the waves! They look very 3-D, which is really cool

i mean for like a profestional who has gotten to actually use all the L glass. You've had one lens. So for all you know it is softer then other macro L glass. You haven't got to try it.

compared to the tamaron you shoot with normally. Hell yes is a lot better.

But for all you know the 100-400 might be softer then what a professional would want.

Not saying you don't have high standards. But your not a professional in the industry and don't have the experience most those people do that write those reviews.

Far as im concerned. Its L glass. Gonna be freaking bad ass no matter what! haha

    what up y'all...

had a busy weekend, but managed to put that 40mm 2.8 pancake lens to work... for a $200 lens, it has paid itself off 100x over...

used the Canon ringflash for this set inside a shower...
