By the way, I totally recommend a military shovel like this one
I didn't think it was that big of a help until I turned the spade 90 degrees and used it as a trenching tool under the truck. Moves an amazing amount of snow when you do that.

I'm also throwing out my harbor freight hi-lift. It served me a few times in the past, but was a total failure this weekend. The climbing pins don't like to descend so I was literally having to kick the jack to pop them into place. Not sure if the pin springs are weak? Anyway, no more playing around with that

I'll post up some more later, these were the quickies from my phone.

Yea I was texting with Benson and he hadn't heard from Mike so I was a little worried but I'm glad Mike made it back! I wish I didn't have to leave early... But at least Mike and I made it off the mountain together before he went exploring on his own heh.

I was pretty sure that I saw you, but hadn't seen pics of your truck from the front. We waved at you as we drove by and your puppy was running around. We were in the blue Taco.

Beavis, I see what you mean haha.

Today wasn't too crowded by any means but it was hardly an empty road.

    Holy crap, that looks awesome.

I have been working on getting to know the local clubs and figuring out where I want to ride, this place looks like it needs a visit this weekend.

    Thanks!

I still have residue over a year later. Don't feel bad about it. I didn't get any work done on the truck. It needed a serious wash, but I was busy.

Yeah I kept getting news reports in the middle of my March Madness, sad to hear of deaths and hopefully they are able to find more alive.

Go to a local body shop supply place(westco) and get some 3M adhesive remover.

Just took the stickers off today too. Used Goof Off with paper towel to start, the paper towel clumped up with the goo and made even more of a mess but then I used a microfiber cloth and it all came off clean as can be. Seemed like this was the way to do it because the microfiber cloth by itself didn't work too well on the other side.

Also managed to get up to the mountains to play in the snow and waste a couple boxes of 9mm.

I heard that goof off was harmful to the paint but couldn't get a decisive answer.

I started rubbing at it with my finger and some water and it started coming off, but was killing my finger. I swapped to rubbing it with a wet sponge meant for glass stovetops in a test area. I've already seen enough tree limbs that pinstriping is normal, but I didn't want swirls. Thankfully, the sponge wasn't abrasive enough to do damage, but it worked great on the goo. Dried it up with a microfiber, totally perfect.

I think part of my success is that the vinyl I was removing was only a few months old, so it comes off easier.
