Mine is an older UWS so that may have somethin to do with it. I've noticed though that all other boxes always hang over a little and thought It was strange mine didn't

Yes. Dont do it intoxicated. I wish it came out a bit better. The fiberglass and filer as not to snuff. I also cut off one to many supports. :( it does its job regardless. Looks good from a distance, until you see the lip

    1st off. Great truck!

2ndly...Why a toolbox? Have you thought about a tuff box?

    P7240062_b1783ef6532c24fad46ab95f72092feb536a99ad.jpg

They are prob. 1/3 the cost of a toolbox and no need for plastiderp.

Jeff thanks for the compliment. I haven't considered it previously but just ran into a few set backs thinking of a box. I was pretty set on a diamond plate but sometimes things change. I truly appreciate the idea and will look into them

had my clutch pedal bearings die on me today. sounded awful. wanted to die. immediately did the linear clutch mod when i got home.

$2.59 for a mod - probably cheapest one I have done.
    used a Linear spring 5" x 7/16" and .047 wire thickness

Although the metal piece above is hitting the spring and causing a tick noise, only noticeable when engine is low RPM or not on. Will find a fix and adapt.

Picked up a diehard platinum battery today, plan to pick up some new terminals and then start rewiring everything I've added with the bussman mini fuse/relay box.

:D i wish I wouldve pulled the trigger sooner. Shit under the hood looks awful.

Although I have yet to look into switches, I will end up doing the switches under a single din like you did. Not sure on light color yet, heck I have to buy a single din radio still. :(
Electronics are $$$. Should stick with armor!! Lol.
