I got a little dremel happy yesterday and this is the result

I was trying to do something different, but now I'm not sure I'm into it. Looks like a frowny mustache...

I may give it another go in a few days and trim off the curvy edges. I really just want a full skid that wraps up and under the stock steel bumper. But until I can find one...What do you guys think?

just trim the whole thing across. Then you can add tube whenever you want and that would look sweet.

I'm trying to avoid having that ugly frame crossmember visible. You mean just trim the thin top part?

Looks good just make some caps for the ends. Would also match better if it was upside down

You should just un screw the rest of the valance & get a cheap piece of steel mesh, take a measurement or 2 & attach it until you get a new bumper or whatever, i did that to my '00 , the front bumper I used was off an '02

Thanks dude & yeah I ran it like this for over a year, it wasn't the polished /finished MOD most seek but it didn't turn out that bad & more importantly it protected the lower half of radiator that was exposed to getting hit from rocks & other shit you encounter while driving...:)

The bumper was off an '02 & I just stuck my stock mounts to it & everything just lined up as right as rain man.. no issues, I still have the bumper w/steel mesh hanging off it, first $50 plus shipping gets it....;)

& yeah theres a grip of pics in build thread IIRC...
