ANY dog/cat/chicken/horse, whatever, has the potential to be dangerous. If you breed gentle dogs to gentle dogs..you get "gentle" puppies. If you breed mean F'ers to mean F'ers, you guessed it...you get mean puppies. I raise German Shepherds, so I know the stigma that comes with it. Every few years, it changes, first, the Shephers, then the Dobies, then the Rotties, right now it the Pitts. Sooner or later it'll change.

She's a good example of the breed, my daughter of 5 is small. The dog (Bailey) is 1yr 1month and about 48l-52lbs chain weight. 21" at the withers and 22"long.

Regardless of breed, I think its a bad idea to have any animal that, if it wanted to do so, would be able to kill you. Thats just me.

Any animal can kill you, all you have do is be the ALPHA in their lives. Treat the animal with respect, love, and care, and it will do the same to you.

Darwinism - survival of the fittest, that is why dogs don't rule the earth...

Well, a kitten can't kill you. Unless you choke on it. You can become the Alpha. As long as you are covered and you are OK with that. I don't know about everyone else in the house.

Sure, it's a matter of taste. What use does a dog have other than crapping all over the place and rolling in deer poop every time you let it out of the house. I have had dogs all my life and love them, as for the usefulness? Unless you use it to retrieve game, I still have yet to figure that one out.

    As for darwin?

Darwin was an idiot. Cockroaches will out survive most living creatures on this planet and they are unintelligent, can be squashed with a foot, and have gone through relatively little evolutionary changes for over 350 million years.

Haha I know. Our old farm dog used to kill snakes that got close to or under the house. I love having Ferrel cats on the farm, but like the companionship of a K9

Yeah. Cats are great silent killers to have in or around your barn. K9s can be very loving indeed. Although I don't envy an animal such as a dog that has so little self respect. They do anything you say, they always want to please you, are always happy to see you, etc. And the have no problem eating other dogs poop. Have some pride for gods sake.

Now cats? I can relate to them. You aren't my friend until you earn it. Don't bother me unless you have something for me.

Although Im a huge Dog lover, I have had cats in the past, and I have to disagree with ya. Cats are pretty fun animals.

I'll have to agree with Chris on this one! Dogs are cool as hell but cats can be pretty fun too.. especially if there is cat nip involved

I used to tie a bunch of shit (shoes, boxes, whatever) to my ceiling fan, and turn it on low.....It would drive my cat NUTS!
