    The better coast
Back in teh day I use to do Gatorade powder mix with a little water and a whole lot of vodka. Sometimes I would get everything right so that a normal red cup would have 5-6 shots in it and sober people thought they were just drinking normal punch or something.

Thats when i stopped making it because we would have DDD's by accident and then people would have to sleep on my floor haha.

No one has time for hangovers!

    Beer doesn't get me drunk

The carbonation makes me want to vomit long before the alcohol does lol

Yea, the carbonation from beer fills me up fast. I can drink tequilla and soda all night though, and usually feel fine the next day.

I'll also mix tequilla and monsters when it's forecasted to be a long night. That's always fun.

I've always wanted to try gatorade and vodka, but someone told me the gatorade gets you drunker because it streamlines the alcohol to your blood or some shit...no clue....as least you'll be replenishing your electrolytes!

Sorry to tell you Zak but a tough mudder doesn't hold a candle to a super or a beast. My super was the most exhausting thing I've ever done in my entire life and couldn't be more thankful it was over. After the tough mudder I wasn't even tired. Definitely will be shooting for the trifecta next year.

Also the thing about Spartans are that all obstacles are mandatory, not optional. If you fail you do burpees. My first sprint was supposed to be 3 miles, it was 5. My super was supposed to be 8 but was 12. I imagine the 12 mile beast will be 15-18.

They were also on ski resorts so when you add the vertical incline, the mountain itself becomes an obstacle.

I too have heard this myth. Pretty sure the amount you consume is the amount of drunkeness you will reach. BTW who got that S.C. Homebuilt thread shut down?

As for gym shit, did another 8 mile pedal bike ride yesterday. Trying to do it at least 3 times a month. Should cut down on that gut but still retain the gainz.

Which TM did you do? Ours was practically a vertical climb, and it was 20 degrees which was by far the worst part.

Why are they all longer than they are supposed to be?

I did the one at Raceway Park. You did the one in the Poconos I assume? I did hear that one had more elevation.

And they are longer because they have the "fuck you that's why" mentality. Zak definitely try the sprint at Blue Mountain, it's a ton of fun.

hmmm word, i'll look into it.

Yeah, I did the poconos 2 or 3 years ago, it felt like the entire thing was up hill. the cold was just teh worst part, if i had done it in tolerable temps it wouldnt have been that bad, but the stupid ice bath was the first thing.

I'll test the Gatorade hypothesis next weekend. As for the home-built thread, I dunno, but that sucks; that was my third favorite thread lol

Yeah the cold can make it suck pretty bad. I did the savage race in 45 degree weather wearing nothing but short shorts and a chippendales costume and it was fucking cold as shit.

I did the glen rose race also. I thought it was gonna be 12 miles too...THat race kicked my ass. cold as shit, wet, windy, and 15.5 miles.

The beast I did they added extra miles to b/c they skipped a swimming portion accros a lake bc it was so damn cold. They didnt want anyone cramping up and drowning. so they added 3 miles.
There was still water crossing about waist deep though. Snow and ice on the ground in some parts.
