Homebrew bumpers and sliders, 5100s & Eibachs up front and mutt leaf pack out back, 285s & Wheelers type B, sway bar deleted. Wife's ride: 01 4Runner 4wd sport. Stock with exception of TRD taco coils, and shift kit.
Can't find anything to complain about with the tires yet. There is notable road noise but I was expecting and can live with it. Seems I won't be able to air them down as much as the 265s on the 7" wide rims. I was at about 13-15 psi there and was getting more tire flex/squat etc. than I ever got with the 265s. Then again I never wheeled that hard with the 265s but that's what it seemed to me. Not sure if the wheel width had anything to do that or what.

Only tire related complaint is now I know why all the forums say to regear even for 285s. Yea, I smoked the clutch a little before this vid was taken trying to get up a rock... I really like the 4.10s though for highway so I think I'm going to start saving for dual cases to get some gear reduction.
