    Trail damage...
This was at that spot right above the really degraded and steep downhill near Lupine Loop. I took the high right trail and pulled too close to the tree on the 90 degree turn down the hill to avoid the driver's side rut. The rest of that downhill was fine once I got over how insane it looked and picked the right line.
The rack upright was pushed all the way back to where that black line is on the shell before breaking. Then the tree pushed into the rest of the shell there where the brown streak is. It bent the little black rain catch and I think I'll need to reseal it there.
I already bent two of the other supports on the rear rack, so I need 4 new aluminum pieces for that anyways...

Not too bad. You might be able to find some aluminum at Orchard, Lowe's or maybe Home Depot.

Yeah it shouldn't be too difficult to fix, just a matter of replacing the aluminum and it's only three bolts to bolt it on...assuming the extent of the damage is that one upright and the rain catch. I haven't looked too closely at it, though. Hopefully there isn't something wrong with that bolt hole on the shell itself.
Yeah I'll take a look at home depot next time I'm near woodland (probably sometime this week) or Ace hardware, whichever I can make it to sooner :p

Camping for a weekend out there. We leave Friday and stay til Sunday. We can get a group of guys who rent out quads if they don't feel like truck wheeling for a day and thrash around that way. Or you can be a beast and wheel all weekend long in your truck. Choose your poison :) either way, I think this needs to happen within the coming month. I just want to get enough people in to make it something real fun like.

That's freaking ridiculous. The size of that jump alone would tell me to stay as far away from that as possible at fast speeds, especially with the kind of speed he had going. Airing down and being choosy about the size of the jump and your speed is very important, as well as having a decent setup to do so.
