    So after speaking with a couple of mechanics, they are telling me to steer clear of running a 32x11.5 r15 on my stock 15x7 rim. They say that 11.5 on 7" is not good and that it will drive like shit on the road (which is 99% of my driving).

    I know further back in this thread you, Mike and maybe GingerDerp told me it would be fine. The former two opinions I respect very much.

    Pros and Cons for both tire sizes

    31 pro: better MPG, power, etc
    32 pro: better off road, better stance, cheaper

    31 con: may look small in the wheel well once I put on a new suspension, more expensive
    32 con: worse MPG, power, may drive like crap on-road, may wear worse

    Dammit

    The main problem with running narrow wheels and wide tires is the inability to produce a even contact patch and result in premature wear, similar to running an over inflated tire.

    Yeah I think I'm going to go with the 881 set up and maybe wheeler's 5 pack in back (or Dakars) and keep the 31s.

    I don't think it's that much of a lift... 1.5"? So the 31s should look fine and perform fine.

    n0rth has put 32K miles on his TSL radials, 12.5" tire on a 7" wheel and those things still look brand new!!:eek: But that guy also knows his shit and probably varies up his psi frequently to get even wear and keeps it aligned and such.
