Got confirmation my shackles and tire deflators shipped today. :woot: Hopefully they get here before the weekend because I'll have a garage to install the shackles. And then possibly find time to find a trail to explore if I'm lucky.

 still assume im a bumbling idiot lol.

my buddy who is supposed to be very experienced with cars who i asked to help with my leaf swap is not proving to be very helpful when it comes to suspension geometry/workings. He knows engines and all that jazz very well, and can weld pretty good...but i have the feeling when it comes to fabricating and knowing what I want out of the truck and how to get it, that he does not know what is going on. so basically i will be using his shop because it has a 220 outlet and a mig welder and tools and space, and ill be the one doing the swap. but by this point i have read so much i have it figured out and nailed down pretty darn well.

I was just getting to those.... I went to my buddies pad about 3 days ago & they're still there as per his wife,,, HE on the other hand has been MIA all week since he & his lovely bride (we'll call her "raving mad dog bitch") seemed to have a difference of opinion on some random domestic issue & he felt that he needed to remove himself from this toxic environment to realign himself with his inner self for reflection on the direction his current domestic arrangement is to follow..... END QUOTE..

No shit, thats almost word for word what she said,:confused::confused:

    NOW, this is MY translation......

He got piss drunk last week & started to fight wit the ol' lady , he must've thrown a breaker bar or something thru the windshield of her mustang because its toast & 1 was laying on the front seat, at which time she-devil placed a call for local backup to help her understand her man, & he didn't want to hang around & socialize with local law enforcement & worse , he split without his phone (which doesn't matter because it TOO was on the front seat of her car not looking so much like a smart phone at all....i mean with all the pieces its in...

So in summarizing this.. YES the rims are there, in his container along with about half a tacoma & approx a 1/3rd of an '89 4runner that has parts i need NOW, but as you'd know... HE has the only key, so we wait......fuck......

Ahhh see me..I'd do the shop all week every day. So fun.

I mean..I'd get out every chance I could too. But building stuff is just damn fun. I've had to start making paracord belts to get my fix...haha need to make something!!

What's cool is when I am home. I usually get to alternate projects with my dad. So we work on mine..then his..then mine..then his..and so on. Super fun :D

but ya know what? I can go to the San Diego County Jails website & see if he's in custody there on a domestic.... think i will, i need the front bearings out of that 'runner , & serious, if he's staying there for a bit I'll master key that lock off in 2 & get it myself...

oh believe me, i love having projects and building shit! it is really one of my biggest stress reliefs (as ironic as that is). But being as busy as I am at this point im more finishing them because I have to and am on a time crunch and running out of money, like the truck. The sooner I get the leafs done it ready for summer wheeling adventures. Im done with the mods after this, just general maintenance left.

and the bike! Fuck its so beautiful outside now! I dont care how much fun working on it is, riding it is 10x as much fun. I like projects in cycles. I like to build it, then have a vacation from being in the garage 4 days a week and use it for a while. Then i get the bug to build something else and the process repeats itself haha
