    Caught up on just over 300 posts, damn you all talk a lot of crap. Jake's roof rack and awnings have a good home and pissed Slim off, bonus! Spent 12hrs a day for the last two weeks programming at work so a computer was the last I wanted to stare at when home.

    Brent looking nice. We need to talk about squashing the bug, something close and overnight.

    I looked at a bunch of small SUV / Crossovers last year. I thought the CRV was too small inside, I couldn't fit in the drivers seat even with it all the way back. The new Toyota RAV4 is nice, it wasn't on the market yet when I was buying. I bought the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0 Turbo. We really like the car and think we got a lot of bang for the buck.

    And the turbo goes fast.

    We're looking at the Santa Fe, CRV, Rav 4, and the Subaru Outback.

    Would like to stay in a Toyota, but it's going to boil down to comfort and cost. I'm getting beat to death and drained financially driving back and forth to the beach and Chesapeake 10-14 times a week. Looking for 30+ highway and a soft suspension.

    dont expect 30+ mpg out of the rav4. if i really watch my driving on road trips in my wifes Rav then i can get right at 26.5mpg... dont know how much better the brand new ones are, but hers is a 2011.

    Also all the CRV's we test drove were rougher rides than my tacoma. I would seriously recommend taking a very close look at the subaru because i believe it would allow for your expedition urges far better than any of the other options.
