Heavier springs reduce nose dive but make it ride and drive better. Less body roll in corners and the ride isn't bad at all as long as you have a shock that's strong enough to properly dampen the heavier spring. Stock springs are too light in my opinion. Eibachs might have been a little heavy, I wouldn't have wanted them with preload, but they rode fine and they are among the heavier of the common lift springs

What did they figure out with your truck and the engine noise?

 

Mine still flexed just fine, but was actually capable of towing and hauling. If you're willing to give up load carrying ability for usable off road flex, then I would agree and go for softer springs. I guess LT is a perfect example of that. Great for off road but shitty on the road.
