in the 6th pic in the OP the 1st thing i thought was that alignment looks pretty bad. take your truck back, my 1st alignment was crap, then had it done by somebody that gave a crap and was good, numbers were all perfect and my tires didn't experience uneven wear, that alignment is not good for your front tires

idk yet thats part of my problem, ive looked at method racing and xd wheels alot and see a few i like. But then i heard i should go with steel wheels because they will be stronger and more protection. Im still trying to do research and make my mind up. yeah some pictures where a bad angle

btw sick build man just checked it out. hey you seem like a good person to ask, im wanting to add some off road lighting. as of right now i cant get a huge front bumper but i can do a nfab light bar or a bull bar. since it looks like youve had both what do you suggest. Im wanting something that will make my truck look better but also want the best useful/performing item. thanks man

A lot of guys around here do a lot of stuff with alloy rims, and though they aren't as strong as steel (or repairable), you would have to be thrashing on them pretty hard. Even the stock wheels, though not as attractive as aftermarket, are pretty strong and hold up to a fair bit of abuse. Really the key to not damaging the wheel is to make sure the tire is fairly wide so it takes the brunt of the abuse (as it should).

haha didn't even see this. Thanks a lot man. Its a work in progress.

For me I settled on a light bar, thinking that I would get it and be done. I quickly learned that it didn't help me off road at all, as it took away my approach angle. A light bar like the nfab is better as it is up out of the way and doesn't hang to low. At the end of the day though, if you really like a bull bar, get it. I really liked the look of a plate bumper, and knew I was going to be going offroad, but I settled on bulbar/light bar. Ended up loosing mulla on the light bar, and getting a plate bumper afterwards

    Spend once, cry once right.

Same goes with lighting as well. Started with hella 500's, then retrofitted them with HIDs (which were bright as hell, but china HID's suck) now I have a blitzpro lightbar (which isn't too impressive, unless I have it aimed wrong:cool:) and now my new setup will be rigid duallys. If I would have just gotten the rigids at the beginning....lol well you get the idea.

btw look forward to seeing a nice modded 14 there Poe :D

Seems like a nice upgrade from the racing slicks you had on before. :)

I hated the stock tires. I only had mine on for 5000 miles and i could tell a huge difference. I did a burn out or drift here and there but only on wet roads and snow and they were trash. Much more happier with cooper.
