Full ome lift, nitro charger sports all 4 corners (rear shocks relocated), Dakar pack w/ AAL, 882 coils, diff drop, toytec 1" shackles, trail gear low profile front bumper, Tuff Stuff winch, bamf sliders, RAT skids, BAMF Bed Rack, Tepui Kukenam RTT, RAT rear bumper,

I already kind of broached it with the wife and, ding ding, we have a winner.

Can't go til after tax season though. Since we're throwing around hypothetical time frames... What about early may, like 2-4th?

Ughh Fuck Pismo lol. People don't know, that's where people go to break shit lol. Not to mention that most of our rigs here in NorCal aren't equipped for it out there even though we think we are. Plus it's windy as shit and it gets boring out there fast.

Okay okay I'm a little bitter about that place lol. 3 out of the 6 times I've been there I've messed something up: two clutches, and once I drove off a 25 ft drop going 30mph. Those dunes man, the dips just creep up on you. And when you try breaking bc you don't see it until last minute, your ABS ruins everything. I'd probably recommend everyone disabling their ABS out there

Just wanted to say thanks guys for letting another 5th gen 4Runner tag along. I had a blast and everyone was fun to hang with. I hope to tag along on the next trip. I only took a few photos up top, wish I would have taken more.

Dude come on MJ, it's not as bad as you are making it sound! I rode up there all day without the ABS disabled, messed around so much and never dropped not once from any of the sudden drop offs. I almost did don't get me wrong, but I was fast enough to stop because I realized it was BS drop. Lol. You just gotta be careful out there that's really all. By the end of the trip I broke nothing but somehow sliced into my drivers inner axle boot by the clamp somehow. I beat the hell out of the truck that day and that was prior to installing my coilovers and doing all the work Ive done to it.

You will do just fine. Many others including myself have taken it there stock, know your trucks limits and only do what you are comfortable with and you will be just fine out there.

X2 on that. I've been out there completely stock and did just fine. I never pushed it while out on the dunes cuz I didn't want to break anything but I did have a bunch of fun just cruising and watching others do crazy things.
I missed out on Hollister trip and depending on the dates for Pismo I would be in on it.

LOL yeah I'm just bitter. Don't get me wrong, if folks haven't done it before, they should do it. It's always a good time when we all get together. Everyone just gotta be cautios.

THIS! MJ knows what's up...gonna see some definite carnage out there if we go. I will be renting a quad if we camp and playing around in the kitty sand with my truck. I'm not equipped for that shit.
