Seems to have the "shopping cart magnet" modification installed.
How's the ride feel on things like the highway with the TRD off-road suspension?

I'm wondering which, if any, is a better ride on pavement... the off-road tuned suspension or the sport suspension offered in the TRD Sports Package?

I have to buy a replacement Tacoma and am looking at both options.

    Nice looking ride!

It rides great on the highway. i drive around 85 to 90 miles a day on the interstates and side roads.

I mean there is still a little bit of a more bump when you hit one but the seats help to cover the bump up. The power under the hood is very surprising 4L V6. I have not had any worries when i am on the interstate trying to pass anybody.

I would highly recommend this truck to anybody that is looking at one. The price is great too.

I was told by the dealer rep, that the TRD off road has way more stuff on the suspension; than the sport. The sport has the scoop, but it would cost $$$ to bring it up to the off road. So do you want the scoop or the suspension? That's what I was told. I bought the off road. It rode great. But I added a 3" lift and 285/55/20's to it. It looks amazing and I'm proud of it. But those tires do road hunt cause they are way bigger than stock.

I went with a 3" lift and put 285/55/20's. Which on the sticker said 33".

The big thing with the sport and TRD Off Road is that the off road has the rear locker and the sport does not. The price for the two is around the same brand new. If you want off road possibilities right off the lot i would stick with the Off Road version. The Off Road also comes with bilstein shock front and rear.

No; the 285/55/20 is bigger than stock. 285=11.5. 55=almost 33". and the 20" is the wheel. What came on the truck=30.5 X10.5 X16> Night Eagle

It's also a low profile tire. It has the deep tread (ExtremeII) which my son in law bought the tire to go on the stock Tacoma wheels and his looks like a street tire that might have come with the truck. He was shocked at the difference. Anyway. I love the look of them and the truck turns heads. So I'm happy.
