nice! thats what i normally do for people...i get some hid harnesses for free from this local shop that plug in perfectly to the stock fog light plugs so when people want that done i make it plug and play so they can go back to stock whenever

Mine are wearing down a little quicker than id like on highway miles but damnit I love them crawling.

 

Check your wattage and amperage demands dude you REALLY need a relay or risk lighting wires up as the weakest link when you keep upping the fuses.

Unless you're already doing that. Then you've got a short.

I blew a 7.5 and 10 but I figured out problem the wire with inline fuse was like 18-20 gauge and everything else is 14-16 gauge. When I finish wiring and cutting out the spot for my switch I'm goin to check the fuses again cuz I know 20 will work

 

Loving them so far! we'll see how the wear does.

 

dude definitely the way to go! So easy. Its just a tease now having them lay around for another week

 

Careful....
I only warn you out of first hand experience.
If your circuit is more than 2 amps, RUN A RELAY.
You need to be running 10 or at absolute worst, 12 ga wire. I personally have done exactly what you're doing with 16 ga wire and an inline fuse- got tired of blowing fuses, so used a 20 amp fuse. That lasted for a while, blew it, used a 25 amp fuse,
Then opened the hood and the weakest link was now the wire- which had all lit up and burned the engine bay down.

Please don't learn the hard way- that's why we all joined this forum. Wire fire is no joke.

Hopefully I'm reading your stuff wrong & I'm preaching to the choir - but rather have it out there to warn anyone!

generally 265/75 16 is the biggest with none to minor trimming. What lift did you get for your 5 lug? Not all will fit.

 

Dropped it off at the dealership for my 3" lift!!

Can't wait!!
