Ok ..2wd open diff isn't a deal breaker, close, but yer still prolly good, anyway was gona say if you guys want to do something different, go out Pine Creek rd (pine valley area but not Bear valley) & take the forestry rd

14S02 (its marked ) right off pine creek, its a pretty cool trail that comes out on Sunrise hwy Mt Laguna, about 12-14 miles IIRC

 

Down where they are talking they dont need a locker as long as they avoid the one huge low spot... Then even 4x's have problems when its really wet.

How far away (roughly) is it?

 

Just got back from the cbp office down in otay and there was no rain down there yet. But i think they got some last night

 

It's the border so prolly 30 mins away just like everything else in SD haha. The pine creek sounds interesting too I've been over there a lot to go riding but I'm not sure I'm stupid with roads and exits I just get off find a spot and go haha kind of bad if I get stuck but that's why they made pin point on iPhone and then You shoot your location in a text to a buddy and they play captain save a hoe.

 

Better be in the spectator area on the opposite side of Evan Hughes Hwy. BLM is giving tickets to anyone in the area not in that Zone. Even if your in Superstition they will ticket you since the course runs through it from what I heard.

And the entry fee is ridiculous, not gonna race it either.

Better get on top of an RV with a ladder and a telescope if you wanna see it!

Your right it's all pretty much light trails. I've had to use 4x4 when exploring some rougher jeep trails. My shooting spot is by the trail that starts behind juvi, in a valley area.
Watch out for the ranger, he will lecture your ears off/fine you if he sees your shooting and leaving trash, even clay birds.
There was a fire started by some stupid shooters a while back (shooting at a old metal gas container).

Watch out where your driving too because some land out there is private property or just closed to motorized vehicles. Just that it's sometimes not clearly marked. This is mostly at the start and end of the main "truck trail".
I was thinking about going to go plink around with my 22 today out there.
Some good views of san Diego and tj at the top of the mountain.

 

How do they close a park? That we pay taxes on?

 

oh that doesnt matter. they wont close it, they will section off 95% of it, yet the 5% thats open, you wont be able to access due to the closed section. its all a joke. like i said before, we are this much closer to being limited to grand stands..

 

Yea I remember when they tried to shut glamis down then off-roaders made a valid point that people who brush against the plants spread seeds and help the growth of plants.

Ok I have video from the tacoma meet and cleghorn trip I have a hard drive but I need someone with a program that I can trim the videos on and put on youtube anyone able to help me out so I can finally post this stuff
