Luckily around tranny alley (RM88) the wind was blowing the complete opposite direction so it was perfect to see all the trucks come flying by. esevequb_001681a683ce6869c6231fa5eb8f0107f3ec21a7.jpg

So what's the deal with smogging a truck that has a fuel cell? It's a 2002 ...it doesn't look like it had the stock filler neck...was thinking I could register it in Arizona at my cousins house if it's easier?

That would be easier to do. Smog isn't that bad out here. I know a first gen with a fuel cell out here and he passed without any filler neck just directly into the cell

If the check engine light works but is not on you pretty much pass in AZ, also need a functioning gas cap too

It is almost up to the smog techs interpretation of the code. IMO you need to be as close to that as possible.
this is how i would or will do mine when that point comes,
Any and all lines going into or coming out of the OEM tank need to be installed onto the new tank and function as OEM

and yes OEM gas cap also, as it gets tested on its own.

And and, I would paint it black so its not flashy racing red looking.

if they offer pass or retest, just go in there and see if they flag anything, if they catch it have them cancel and get whatever they note and retest

I run a full size 35" spare on my bumper so my OE spare is gone and I have a few ideas for that space under the bed so I was wondering if anyone can speak to the actual structural contributions that X brace / spare holder makes ? Figured the LT crowd would know...?

You mean the stock crossmember? Our frames flex to much already without taking that out. Leave it in or replace it with something similar if you remove it.

i dont know much about allignment, but i do know that with any lift or long travel the "in spec" numbers will be different than stock. so since it says its in the red, it doesnt necessairly mean its not in spec for THAT kit. make sence?

Ouch! I hope that wasn't designed to be that far off, being negative caster is going to make the truck feel very twitchy and not want to drive straight at speed, and the wheel probably does not return to center on its own

My Camburg kit aligns to stock spec ;)
