Monte my emergency brake light stays on now. It has for a while now. Any ideas of what's causing that?

I have not had the chance to ride in a rig with that setup. I can say id recomend the 5 pack with the aal and i don't think it would be too stiff.

Going with that, id get the AAL as well with the Dakars. Simply for the fact that it is easily removed if in fact it is too stiff but you can add it back if the packs sag too much.

Also from what i have seen with just the Dakars, id get the AAL as well.

    in short..get the AAL :p

This is a common "issue" the handle just becomes loose. I never bothered to fix mine. If you just tap the handle in you'll see the light turns off.

    ooooo

id guess the switch is just stuck on now.

Also check your brake fluid. It'll come on for low brake fluid too i believe.

im assuming the brake itself still works? i have broken my cable before..

I'll check. Will the lift have anything to do with it?

    It shouldn't no.

Other the the leaf packs potentially lifting up the cable that is on the axle depending on how thick your leafs are. You could extend the mounting points on the axle to keep the cable over the leafs.

Hey Monte how's your aux battery tray holding up, is the supports on the fender pushing the fender or is it holding up pretty good

    so far..amazingly...its hold great.

The trays are nice. If anything breaks it'll be my shit welding on the body that'll bust through. But so far, its held fine. I do kinda want to reinforce it, but i'll probably wait till it busts through to do that ha.

    haha never enough time!

Sweet I'm probably going to go that route since "apparently Columbia overland went out of business :notsure: or something happened

I'm thinking of getting some 1/8" sheet metal to spread the supports weight across the body more

I had this problem for years. It was worse when it was cold outside.

My friend's shop fixed it for me for free one day (years ago). I'll ask the mechanic, fixed it, what his solution was.

Sometimes the grease used on the ebrake handle gets gummed up and doesn't or only partially engages the push-button switch at the back end where the ebrake handle mounts. When you disengage the ebrake, give it a love tap. Should fully seat it against the switch. Usually worked for me.:D

    Oh...well thats odd.

They made a sweet dual tray.

I mean the tray i had was a dual but not like theirs was. Really was just two singles that bolted together. Gave the other one to Jon though as i didn't need it.

The extra metal can't hurt thats for sure. That is exactly what id do if i where to do it again. Hell anything really. 16g would be fine even just to add some strength.

i just gave up and ignore it haha

Have you had any bearing trouble with your low backspacing on your wheels? I am thinking of doing 3.5 but am still fearful.
