The diff mount isn't hard to replace. The crossmember for the steering rack...is cracked that high on both sides...

So...anyone who has done a SAS recently that has their crossmembers still laying around and not hacked up should PM me.

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build

I've got this really weird vibration out of the front, just can quite pinpoint it.....

Hey Timmy, did you check to make sure that wasn't causing your clunk? :p

But seriously, how did you accomplish that one?

I honestly have no idea how this happened. I haven't wheeled it hard in awhile. Went wheeling last Sunday, but my CV let go before I got to anything hard. I was really confused the CV blew up, but it had, had a ripped boot for awhile. Figured it had gotten enough grime and stuff in it and was just ready to die. This stuff was a total surprise, I was under to replace the damn CV and stumbled on all this.

Fml haha. At least I still have half of spring break left to deal with this.

haha I wish. I want to LT this yota though!

We'll have to keep in touch. I'm just going to pull the diff and steering rack so I can get in their with a welder. Plate the shit out of it as a temp fix. Hopefully nothing else is fucked.

I need to replace the struts on my snugtop glass. I have called the company headquarters in California, and their "local distributor" in my area to no avail. All I was trying to get was the measurements. I even asked how they measured them, extended to closed and they wouldn't give me an answer.

So does anyone here know how I should measure this to purchase the replacement? Or has anyone replaced theirs and happen to know?

^ This. Take one of the old ones into auto zone or the sorts and just match it up. I have the specs at home ( I had to replace my rear glass...)
Actually, come to think of It, I think I saved the struts from my old glass assy. The new glass came with all new hardware including struts. I'll look tonight. If I have, you pay shipping and you can have.

I know for a fact Auto Zone has a book for the Might Lift part numbers by length. Just ask to look it the book and find one that matches yours the best. They will have to pull up the description on the computer to get exact measurements of collapsed and extended.
