Seriously considering taking the straight axle from the '85 project truck...I would have to regear it though.

Yea, I was going to load up the dirtbikes and head to Bend for the rest of the week. Not so much now.

I don't know. My mind is blow haha. I can weld the cross member as a quick fix. See if I can find a replacement one. I don't want to know what the dealership will charge for one...

You would have a hard time getting anything to stick to that cast. The frame part will be easy, fry a plate on it.

The cast piece I'll just buy a replacement from Toyota. The frame has me worried. I'm going to pull the diff and steering rack, so I can get a welder in there. Its cracked on both sides. Definitely plating time.

At least I have the last half of spring break to deal with this haha. Good grief. Nooooooot what I was expecting or wanting to deal with. Have to get the '85 finishing and registered so I can park the '04 to completely replace that cross member. No way I'm going without a vehicle lol.

No joke. I'll have it streetable in a couple days, but shit. Permanent fix will have to wait until I can find a new cross member. If I were motivated I could probably cut the old one out and and burn the new one in a week. I'm done with class at 10am on Fridays this term haha. Mob home and get 'er done!

Wow - this is what's going on in hillsboro right meow. Saw about 12 sheriff marked cars fly by, 2 sheriff swat looking rigs, 6 unmarked cards traveling with the marked cars.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Again, the junk yard next to me had a Tacoma in it. Engine and trans are already gone too...

One of these just drove by my office - had police escorts front and rear.

Who ever that guy is that's help up inside the house is about to get fucked by the entire WA Co. sheriff department.
