Might be the picture but they do look to be pretty compressed. Do you get any coil bind? Happen to know what kind of driving the previous owner put on it and the mileage? My Icon's springs have pretty large gaps between each wrap

No idea. But they were on Tacoma so I had to crank for the V8 weight. But they ride great. No coil bind or limited down travel that I've noticed.

ok so I finally got around to taking the stock side steps off the runner. Love the look of it without...can't wait to get some sliders for it.

also drained the battery by having the headlights on for too long as I was trying to adjust the beam...any one know how to do this? I mean, I see the two adjusters but one is kinda hard to get to and I'm not sure if I need to even mess with that one. The problem with the beams right now is the passenger side points way higher than the driver side (driver side looks like the correct height). It seems like it's pointed correct horizontally. so do I just need to adjust the one on the bottom to pull the beam down lower? Or will that also inadvertently adjust the side-to-side orientation because i'm not adjusting the other one too?

also, just for fun, what mods should I do next to the runner? looking for suggestions.

These total Chaos arms gave me more travel. I had to crank down a little. I was maxing them out and was severely limiting my travel. So I cranked down about 1/2" and rides smooth as hell and my travel is back. So happy with these arms

You think the UBJ was limiting your travel? Skeptical. At full droop my UCA hits my coil.

I think something was happening because I all of a sudden lost travel and had a stiffer ride. So I cranked down a little and now it's all back to how it was.

If you're hitting coil I highly suggest strapping your front end.

i'll strap you. nfw im going through all that effort, truck is rarely at full droop anyway. You should be hitting the coil with the uca at full droop too, no?

Nope I droop out and clear everything. Your strut combo must be longer than my coilovers is all I can think .

BTW I went from 3.2 caster to 4.9! HNG
